We have included everything like How teacher will enter the classroom, How teacher will start the class, How teacher will read to class, How teacher will carry out activity, How teacher will communicate to parents, How teacher will prepare worksheets, How teacher will prepare flash cards … (E.g. 1:- Teacher entering the Classroom to deliver the concept of Calendar – “I forgot that today, I was supposed to purchase carrot for my baby, if I would have written it on Calendar, I would not have forgot it. Ok, what day is today, who will help me? now, what date is today who will help me? now, which month is this, who will help me?”

E.g. 2:- Teacher entering the Classroom to deliver the concept of Chair and revision of Colour ‘Red’ and revision of Community Helper ‘Carpenter’ – Teacher will enter the classroom and will behave as if she is looking for something, after few seconds of being noticed by children, speaks aloud – ‘where is red chair, the carpenter needs it to fix it’? Then, teacher will encourage each child to help her and in the process will emphasis on the word Red, Chair and Carpenter.

Through above mentioned two examples, the point we are trying to make here is, that each dialogue, each drama, everything, will be provided by us, so that Teacher can focus on delivering and delivering.

Q: As a Teacher, I am expected to do lot many things besides Teaching (taking classes), meet existing parents, address new enquiries, help in transition and various other activities, is this Curriculum going to increase my workload?

A: We understand the typical preschool environment in India, and we very well know the Teachers job in India is not very rewarding monetarily and otherwise too. It is to be understood that Teachers will require time for preparation of teaching materials etc. But, we have done everything, in such a format that, it will not take much time of Teacher, and each Academic Thing will have a home-developed aesthetic feel as well as professional design and drawings. So, at the end Teacher saves the time, delivers better and thus resulting into their increased social Prestige and value (which ultimately in some time will lead to high rewards).

This shall be clearly understood that our Curriculum will NOT increase the teacher’s workload, but will empower and enable teacher in such a way that the Teacher is able to deliver in much better manner and thus move ahead in their career in highly advanced way. Good Delivery by Teacher will lead to their increase in Social Prestige and value and ultimately it will lead to high rewards.

E.g. Regarding a ‘particular’ Animal, what holds much importance is –

How appreciation about that ‘animal’ is generated, how beauty of nature is seen by child in that animal.

Also,

– Which Features child observes on its own?

– What Teacher shall explain about that animal?

– Which features makes it fall under a particular classification?

– Which all features shall be emphasized for the child?

– What makes it different from other animals?

– What makes it similar to other animals?

Q: Is – The ZERO Curriculum™; a Montessori Curriculum?

A: Yes, in all sense, this is a Montessori Curriculum. We have followed everything, very appropriately, theories and philosophies propounded and suggested by Great Maria Montessori.

But, also see this –

  • In present days, entire Society as well as Education, Technology, Knowledge has progressed a lot.

  • Progress is very rapid now a day. Just in a span of 5 Years, entire world changes so much that, if a person is sky-rocketed and brought down after 5 Years, he / she will find it tough to believe that it was just 5 Years.

  • Education is sum total of entire knowledge possessed by society, one person, irrespective of how Great he / she might be, cannot be all in all of Education. E.g. Sir Newton is much superior to the word Great itself, but then ever, Physics is not only him …

  • Imagine! If there is nothing in hand, then ‘Maria Montessori’ is good enough to be everything. But, in the wake of works of other Childhood education Philosopher and Educationists, those are also required to be included to make a Full and Complete Curriculum.

  • Contributions made by Great Maria Montessori is stupendous, nothing could belittle that. Although, we have included all of Great Maria Montessori, but that also, in comparison to our entire Curriculum, holds a small share, because Education of present times has advanced a lot, Hundred Years is a big time gap, isn’t it?
